Briefsync ("we" or "us") is pleased to provide you with access and use of our websites and services (hereinafter referred to as "Site" or "Sites"). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement, you are not authorized to use or access the Services.
By registering for or using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are thirteen (13) years of age or older. The Services are intended solely for Users who are thirteen (13) years of age or older. Any registration, use of or access to the Services by anyone under thirteen (13) is unauthorized and is a violation of this Agreement.
If you use the services on behalf of another party you are also in violation of this agreement. It is your responsibility to provide accurate information when registering with Briefsync.net. Providing false contact information of any kind may result in the termination of your account.
You agree to be fully responsible for all use of your account and for any actions that take place through your account including client portal and the website itself including web hosting you subscribed to. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your password and other information related to the security of your account.
Each member will have 2 accounts:
Resetting password requires access to primary email address.
You are permitted to modify your plans at any point, with adjustments made on a pro-rated basis. All features from prior plans remain intact; however, updates that fall outside of other plans will not be accessible. This applies to both monthly and yearly arrangements.
In the event of increased development costs or the addition of new features across all plans, Briefsync may adjust the pricing of existing memberships. We always provide our users with advance notice of at least 3 months before any changes take effect.
Transferring a website can often be more complex than anticipated. Many existing sites are built on outdated programming, resulting in slow loading times and incompatibility with the latest WordPress and web hosting standards. At Briefsync, we address this by completely reprogramming your website using modern techniques to enhance loading speed.
When transferring or migrating a website, we only accept WordPress. Depending on the size and structure, it usually takes 14 to 28 days.
We do not accept illegal, invalid or unenforceable content. Developer/Web Assist is a Collaboration and Communication tool:
Free website development is free of charge. Every user/client who signs up for membership gets a free website. Free website development takes 4 to 8 days. Free website do not include custom plugins and must be bought if you want backup or access to cPanel.
Important: 24 hour periods of no response are not counted towards the free website development duration.
At Briefsync we keep your data secure and private. We have the right to use your data to serve you. All of your data are not shared with any 3rd Party except our partners.
Web hosting servers rely on electricity which can be disrupted by natural disasters. We maintain mirror servers that back up your website every two weeks to weekly depending on your plan. In the event of a primary server failure, the latest backup is displayed to keep your online presence active.
The internet provider imposes restrictions on bandwidth. If you exceed the allotted bandwidth, notifications will be sent via both the client portal and email with one-week advance notice before suspension.
At Briefsync we highly recommend keeping web hosting locked, which means inaccessible to the web host server and website files. This ensures your Web Assist is uninterrupted.
Unlocking web hosting to access cPanel and website files are free. But your Web Assist feature of your membership will be paused and must be thoroughly inspected before resuming when you are ready.
Backing up a website only backs up the WordPress site, it does not back up "custom plugins" and "Briefcase plugin" however any data related will be backed up.
Custom Plugins are free on Briefsync active members. It can not be accessed through cPanel. It does backup all your data but not the plugins itself. To buy outright your custom plugin so you can access to cPanel or host elsewhere you need to visit "My Briefcase".
All custom plugin varies in cost. The cost of a plugin will be listed in "My Briefcase".
Purchasing a Domain Name is billed yearly with automatic renewal enabled by default. To turn off auto renewal, login to client portal and visit Domain Name and update the setting.
Should you choose to terminate the complimentary domain name within twelve months, you will have the opportunity to acquire it separately. Your domain name will always remain accessible regardless of your membership plan.
If you decide to request a refund during a free domain name period (1st year), the domain name cost will be subtracted from the total subscription refund.
Late payment can lead to temporary suspension of your account. In the case of 3-month non-payment, your account may be permanently shut down.
Should you choose to terminate your membership after a year, charges for your domain name will continue to be applied separately.
Dissemination of illegal content can result in severe legal penalties and immediate account termination.
We offer refunds for monthly or yearly subscriptions. We do not offer refunds on domain names. Free domain names are also non-refundable as they are paid by Briefsync.
If you decide to request a refund during a free domain name period (1st year), the domain name cost will be subtracted from the total subscription refund.
We utilize both PayPal and Stripe as our payment gateways. We bear no responsibility for payment transactions. In the event of any issues, please liaise directly with the payment provider or grant us authorization to engage on your behalf.
